Within the project “Business Plan 2019-2020” implemented by the Macedonian association of agricultural cooperatives and funded by the European Union, 5 focus groups were conducted with women from rural areas – members of agricultural cooperatives and women who are directly involved in agricultural production. Focus groups were organized in Mustafino (Sveti Nikole) and Ratavica (Probistip) on July 7, 2020, while in Miravci, (Gevgelija), Balinci, (Valandovo) and Strumica were held on July 14, 2020.
The purpose of the focus groups is to prepare an Analysis of the situation of women in agriculture (number, size, impact of women in rural development, challenges faced, etc.). The prepared document in the next period will be publicly announced and shared with the membership and all stakeholders and it will help to create the Strategic development plan and new programs in MAAC.
