The Macedonian association of agricultural cooperatives on July 10 in Hotel Sirius, Strumica held a training on the topic: The importance of pesticide pollution in agriculture and environmental protection. The purpose of the training was for the representatives of agricultural cooperatives from the region – MAAC members to get acquainted in more detail with the chemical means for plant protection and proper selection and use of pesticides, ways of manipulating the rest of the means of protection and hygienic procedures in the process of handling pesticides with special emphasis on environmental protection as well as inspection of other (non-chemical methods) for plant protection with special reference to eco (organic) production.
The training on “The importance of pesticide pollution in agriculture and environmental protection” is an activity realized within the project of MAAC “Business Plan 2019-2020”, funded by the European Union where the lead applicant of the project is Care Deutschland-Luxemburg and the partner organization is MEDF.
